Boots Do you believe in coincidences? Final Fantasy has always been a mysterious series to me, but with the VII remake coming out I figured now was the time to dive in. Separately, the very same week, I also decided it was finally time to brush up on my Aversa collection. Imagine my shock when the last song on this album plays and it's chock full of Final Fantasy VII themes. I would NEVER have realized this until exactly this week. Jillian you've done it again. Favorite track: Avalon.

Michael St. George I actually found out about J-Verse when she released Atlantis Awakening some years back, so I bought and listened through that album first. It was not until Spring '17 (i.e. this year) that I heard or purchased this album. While I will say Origins is a little less dynamic and stylistically diversified (d'Versa-fied?) than AA, I believe that is merely due to Jillian's growth as an artist, and if anything it should be accredited to the sheer magnificence that is so wonderfully encapsulated in AA. Because to be quite frank, every song on Origins is so pure, majestic, and ravishingly beautiful. These ‘original’ songs are the esoteric tribal/traditional New Age/World copaseticism you have been searching for. Overall Rating: 9/10 | Fave tracks: 1. Deliverance of the Heart; 2. Shadows; 3. Hajime; 4. (tie) Avalon & The Secret Guards of Kalé. Favorite track: Deliverance of the Heart.

Fahrenheight Nova I'm honestly hard pressed to find a voice that's more soothing and melts you quite like Jillian Aversa's angelic vocals do. Not to mention, the songs here are all gorgeous new age pieces that compliment her voice perfectly. Fantastic release, and can't wait to hear more. Favorite track: The Winds Of Change.
